Children and Youth Ministries

The purpose of our children and youth ministries is to impact the children and youth of our community with the message of Christ’s unconditional love, encouraging them to grow in a personal relationship with Christ through biblical teaching, role modeling and self-esteem building.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not stop them for it is to such as these the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

Children are our present and our future, our hope, our teachers, our inspiration.

Youth Sunday School – Grades 6th through 12th.  9:45 to 10:40 a.m. held on the 2nd floor of the Educational Building.  The youth use scripture and current scenarios as they address the issues of faith in today’s world.   First Sunday of the month is “God’s Plan, our Hands” mission time where the youth work on projects to serve the church.

Children’s Sunday School – Joins us at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School.  Come learn about Jesus in a fun, creative way with great teachers.  We use a variety of curriculum for our children’s class with weekly Bible stories and fun Bible crafts.  Class for ages 3 to 5th grade held on the 3rd floor of the Educational Building

Kidz Worship – Held the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month during the 11 a.m. worship service.  Children ages 3 through 5th grade participate in a service of singing, praying, scripture readings, faith lessons, and crafts.  Kids learn to praise God with song, dancing and fun!

Nursery – Granbery offers a nursery for newborns through 4 year olds during our Sunday morning worship and Christian education time.  The nursery is located on the 1st floor of the Educational Building.  We have a playroom and crib for your little ones full of age appropriate toys and equipment. We also have a child friendly restroom in our nursery so we don’t have to walk children down the hall to our other facilities.  Our nursery staff is there to assist you in any way they can.

Our church is a “Safe Sanctuary” which means we have policies and procedures in place to ensure our children, youth, and at risk adults are in a safe and caring environment when they enter our building. We ask parents to sign their child/children in upon arrival and to let us know of any special needs they may have to assure quality care.
