I was cooking/baking and forgot about the service. I hadn’t planned to come anyway in hopes that no one would, and you would sing, Sung! 😄 I miss singing during the services.

Health Acknowledgement Poster contains requirements for those who want to attend in-person gathering in churches of UMC as follows. It is with Social Distancing and Face Covering.

1. I have not had 2 or more of the following symptoms of COVID in the past 14 days: fever, shortness of breathing, coughing, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle pain, loss of smell and taste etc.

2. I have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID(identified in #1) in the past 14 days,

3. I have not tested positive for COVID, nor am I waiting for COVID test results, nor have I tested positive and have not subsequently had complete resolution of COVID symptoms

4. I will immediately notify the pastor if, after attending the event in the church, you develop 2 or more symptoms of COVID, will avoid contact with others, and will seek medical attention.

With this Health Acknowledgment Poster, you can come to the church in-person gathering.
BUT, if you have fever or any other symptoms of COVID or Flu. you think you have, you want to stay at your home and take care of yourself.

Taking care of ourselves is now with COVID very important and, I believe, it is biblical. It is because, the bible teaches that the body of believers are God's temple. It should be holy and clean. It means we should take care of ourselves as we are the body of Christ. And believers should not hurt others. If we are not taking care of ourselves well, with or without knowing we may hurt others. The situation with COVID is sometimes inevitable now. But, we want to do our best to take care of ourselves and others for the glory of God. That is why we want to do Social Distancing and Facial Covering.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
